Accelerating Innovation across OIT is about collaborating. Collaborating to discuss, refine, and implement ideas. Collaborating to spark innovative ideas with others and collaborating to create your own ideas based on what others are doing.
There are many ways to collaborate and there’s no required mechanism or process. We encourage you to use MS Teams (including the Accelerating Innovation channel in the OIT Team), Zoom, email, phone, face-to-face, brown bag lunches and any other tools or approaches to work with others.
We encourage collaboration across teams, across OIT divisions and across other UCI units. Feel free to collaborate with anyone you think can be helpful and don’t be shy in reaching out to people you may not know.
Keep in mind that we all have important work to do, so we need to keep our manager(s) informed about what we’re doing – they can also help strengthen and advance great ideas.
